Secure solutions for ID documents, passports and visa labels
System solutions for passport and ID systems comprise the software and peripheral hardware for recording and processing the personal data of the document holder (e.g. photographs and fingerprints). Unprinted passports and ID documents can be personalized using various printing techniques and by incorporating security features. As well as identifying the document holder, a border control system is also able, among other things, to check the validity of a visa and whether an individual is in a country illegally or has overstayed their visa. A card management system additionally offers a broad range of functions for managing and checking smartcards throughout their life cycle.
