The Early Practice makes the Master
What should I study? Or should I do an apprenticeship instead? What suits me and where will I have good career prospects? Work experience often allows school children to find answers to these questions. G+D offers a wide range of work experience for school children who can imagine forming a career at a globally active technology group. We also have Girls’ Day in Germany to allow girls a peek into a day at G+D.

Plenty to Discover in Three Days
Our school-age work placements last around three days to a week. During this period, you can gain insight into a range of different departments at G+D in Germany, such as the accounting, human resources or purchasing department. We offer the internship three times a year, in the Autumn, Christmas or Whitsun holidays.

They gave me such a warm welcome that my nerves disappeared in a flash. I've met so many really nice people, and they’ve given me a whole lot of information and advice.

Just for Girls: Girls’ Day in Germany

A Passion for Technology
Girls aged 14 and older can take advantage of the Girls’ Day and take a look behind the scenes at what we can offer. Whether you want to be a mechatronics engineer, printer or software developer, we train young women for various careers which often only boys think of when it comes to imagining what a dream job would be like. Experience a passion for technology!
At the Girls’ Day, we show girls what they can do with their passion for technology. It is fantastic how much fun the girls have with practical activities and solving technical problems.
