What precisely is a dual education scheme?
A dual education scheme brings together theory and practice. This includes study at a partner university or college in Germany, while also being trained in a company. This means that you can earn money and gain practical experience while studying.
What dual education courses does G+D offer in Germany?
We offer programs in the areas of information technology, print and media technology, electronic and computer engineering, as well as business studies.
How long does a dual education program last?
It depends. It’s 3 years for business studies, 3.5 years for technical courses.
What’s the start date?
September 1 each year, at the same time as on-the-job training courses. This enables students to gain insight into practice before the first theory phase.
What are the entry requirements?
You must have a good school leaving certificate or entrance qualification for a technical college. For technical courses, you should have a specialism in natural sciences. Previous knowledge in your relevant area of studies and good English are advantageous.

With business studies, the practical part makes up approximately 50%; in technical courses it is around 15 months, consisting of prior practice, periods without lectures, a practical semester, and bachelor work.
Will I learn anything else as well?
G+D offers many training and development options for people on dual education programs, such as English, presentation techniques, and much more.
