Seamless eSIM Activation
One of the core benefits of the eSIM is the convenient and fully digital activation proccess.
- QR Code: By scanning a QR code, the eSIM can be loaded instantly.
- Discovery Service: eSIMs can be pre-assigned to a dedicated device. As soon as the device is powered on, it automatically downloads the eSIM.
- eSIM Device Activation Service: Enterprises can easily assign and manage eSIMs on enterprise devices via their Mobile Device Management (MDM) system.
- Default SM-DP+: Device manufacturers can preload a default SM-DP+ address into devices, allowing them to connect to a specific carrier or eSIM provider out of the box, without requiring the user to scan a QR code or enter details manually.
- Entitlement Server (ES): An ES manages and authorizes access to specific mobile services on iOS or Android devices. It enables seamless transfer of an eSIM from an old to a new device, or the activation of eSIM devices such as wearables or tablets.
Flexible eSIM Profile Download
We offer just-in-time eSIM profile provisioning. AirOn360® has the ability to dynamically adapt the eSIM profile to the demands of the subscription or device at the time of the eSIM download. This simplifies inventory management with fewer Stock Keeping Units (SKU) and reduces operational costs.
Easy upgrade to IoT and In-Factory eSIM
Our AirOn360® Consumer eSIM solution can be easily upgraded to support GSM compliant SGP.32 IoT eSIM management. We also support pre-standard In-factory profile provisioning.
Best in class eSIM Security
The eSIM ecosystem offers a level of security equivalent to that of removable SIM cards. The protocols are based on state-of-the-art cryptographic mechanisms and secure the privacy of the end user. A public key infrastructure (PKI) governed by the GSMA, provides secure authentication of ecosystem entities. Manufacturers or providers of eSIM solutions have to undergo GSMA certification in order to be admitted into the ecosystem.
But for us this is not enough! We have extensive in-house expertise and experience in advanced cryptography. We begin implementing security features well before standardization is complete and strive to ensure a much higher level of security than the minimum required.
