Technical Sales Manager – Cash Center Solutions

Responsible for sales and business development with a special focus on Cash Centre Solutions (Cash Centre Automation) and related Software products

Scope and Purpose:

  • SALES  of Currency Management Products and Services in the Middle East and Africa region  in coordination with Head of Sales & Marketing CTCS Africa / Middle East and in compliance with regional sales strategy
  • Business Development with a special focus on  Cash Centre Solutions (Cash Centre Automation) and related Software products
  • Grow business considerably by developing key markets for various products and services
  • Evaluate market potential; establish and implement strategy for key countries
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Establish and maintain relevant contacts with customers, sales and service partners
  • Evaluate market potential and develop market entry strategy for new products
  • Evaluate possibility to open own rep-offices, service hubs or other local entity in key markets
  • Monitor implementation and execution of appropriate sales strategies and see implementation through until achievement of results
  • Co-ordinate activities with Area (Country) Sales Directors and Distributor Manager


  • Support the strategic product planning process of the division CTCS in co-operation with the relevant group consisting (HQ and other subsidiaries)
  • Communicate customer requirements, market intelligence and competitor information to relevant product marketing group at the HQ and participate in group meetings
  • Generate and qualify ideas for the development of a competitive product portfolio to meet customer needs, build up a strong link to Product Management in the mother company
  • Provide best support in generating new business models, product concepts and functionality specifications.
  • Be responsible for the analysis and planning of all product marketing issues within the subsidiary respectively the allocated sales region, which is Africa and Middle East

Key Result Areas / Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned individual sales targets, if applicable, as well as company objectives for the allocated sales area
  • Travel to and remain in key markets for sufficient amount of time to gather market data and build case for strategy to be implemented
  • Liaise and negotiate with high ranking public and private sector staff, as well as distributors
  • Help distributors to increase sales and boost performance
  • Meet quantitative and qualitative targets
  • Report and forecast activities
  • Monitor and report competitor activities
  • All activities required to achieve purpose and scope as described above

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Technical Sales experience in the Africa and/or Middle East region
  • Advanced technical or business related degree
  • Experience in developing and presenting solution designs as part of pre-sales activities preferably in a Cash Center environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, ability for multitasking
  • Detail-oriented and persistent in execution and follow-up of tasks
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Capability to listen, comprehend customer’s need and derive adequate technical and commercial solutions
  • Mature approach to business and understanding of core principals of key account management
  • Candidate must be willing to travel extensively all over the Middle East and African region
