Change of leadership at Veridos: Bernd Kümmerle takes over as CEO on July 1

Marc-Julian Siewert will leave Veridos after more than three years as CEO and, as previously announced, assume a new role in the Digital Security segment of the G+D Group. He will be appointed to the management board of secunet on July 1 and subsequently take over as CEO. During his time at the helm of Veridos, the company has developed into a leading global provider of identity solutions and increased its revenue by more than 50%. Veridos has made great progress in becoming even more customer-focused and, under the leadership of Marc-Julian Siewert, has successfully completed projects with governments and public authorities in more than 100 countries.

He will be succeeded as CEO of Veridos with effect from July 1 by Bernd Kümmerle, an experienced leader and long-standing managing director of the Currency Technology segment of the G+D Group. Bernd Kümmerle, who has been with G+D since 1995, was most recently responsible for the business with products and solutions in the banknote sector. From this role he will bring many years of experience in international government business to Veridos.
