Munich (Germany) - G&D and Huawei have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to join forces for global marketing and deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. Under the terms of the agreement G&D is providing its AirOn eSIM management solution to integrate with Huawei’s open OceanConnect IoT ecosystem. The combined solution provides seamless connectivity services based on secure eSIM profile provisioning and enables Huawei worldwide users to flexibly connect to Mobile Network Operator (MNO) services of their choice. Meanwhile, Huawei OceanConnect IoT ecosystem helps G&D fully connect and control IoT devices.

Munich (Germany), February 27, 2017 - Giesecke & Devrient is supplying NTT DOCOMO, INC. with its AirOn eSIM management solution for IoT applications. AirOn v3 is based on the latest GSMA v3.1 specification and allows carriers to deploy new and highly secure IoT applications for various IoT verticals. With the interoperable global solution NTT DOCOMO can connect to multiple systems to transfer or assign subscriptions.

Munich (Germany), February 23, 2017 – G&D has completed the integration of its Convego^® Hub solution with the Mastercard Digital Enabled Service (MDES). With this integration to MDES, G&D can provide a one-stop solution to Mastercard issuers for secure mobile payments both for issuers’ own wallets on HCE (Host Card Emulation)-enabled mobile devices as well as for issuer participation in third-party wallets. Convego^® Hub supports also the integration of other wallet providers to Mastercard token service.

Munich, January 10, 2017 – Ms. Sourour Stanke (37) has been appointed the new Head of Corporate Communications at Giesecke & Devrient. Ms. Stanke took up the role on January 2, 2017 and in this position will report directly to the Chairman of the Management Board Ralf Wintergerst.
