Using the BPS® B1 banknotes can be quickly sorted by denomination, series and orientation. Its high-grade sensors offer secure authentication, and inspire employee confidence in handling banknotes. A wide range of specific applications can be added, enabling the BPS® B1 to integrate perfectly into existing workflows and the customers' IT infrastructure.
It is ideally suited for bank branches’ front office operations, casino cages, and in currency exchange offices for processing foreign currency. In addition, counters of public transport offices can use it for their retail applications. The BPS® B1 interface makes it easy and intuitive for employees to use, even in multi-user environments. It offers a professional entry into banknote processing.

The BPS® B1 features highly ergonomic design; the LCD color display is easy and intuitive to use. Operation modes such as “count” and “sort” are simple to select with ergonomic keys and if needed, the whole transport path can be opened when a jam occurs.
The BPS® B1 can be optionally extended for example for processing checks, up to ten multiple currencies, and for reading tickets (TITO) in casinos. Serial number scanning including printing to an external printer (optional) and subsequent data processing can be integrated, as can – of course – the processing and sorting of banknotes by fitness for circulation with optical tape sensor.
