BPS® M5: unsurpassed productivity for the commercial high speed world
Efficiency and a production that easily adopts to business requirements: The modular "High Speed World” for high volume commercial cash centers and casinos perfectly links banknote processing and intelligent automation.
The BPS® M5 is the system for commercial applications in G+D’s High-Speed World for high volume cash processing. As successor to the BPS® 1000 (with over 1,400 installations worldwide), it processes mixed denominations of banknotes with different formats and substrates. In doing so, the system achieves speeds of up to 33 banknotes per second (around 120,000 banknotes per hour) – even in continuous operation: 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Additional automation modules – the NotaTray Loading® and NotaPack® systems can automate the loading and packaging of banknotes for the BPS® M5, further improving productivity and security by minimizing idle time and hands-on-cash.

Cash processing options
The BPS® M5 has a modular structure. It can be equipped with 4 to 20 stackers, and supports various operation modes and cash processes: Header card deposit processing (HDP) is ideal for efficiently verifying small deposits, such as in casinos or retail environments. Fast deposit processing (FDP) is interactive and achieves outstanding security due to a straightforward process sequence. The high capacity feed compartment (up to 4,000 banknotes) incorporates continuous banknote input with noise and dust protection facilitated by an automated sliding door. ATM fit banknotes are not strapped but stacked as lose notes in the large delivery module – ready for ATM replenishment.

Software and service
Customers can rely on the Compass Cash Center Enterprise software suite which enables the management of cash safes and customer accounts, as well as the processing and accounting of deposits. It is a scalable platform, which can be introduced step by step. One example is the module for the verification and accounting of deposits, including their preparation and reconciliation during the header card process.
In addition to technical support, on-going maintenance, and system updates, G+D also offers service and operator training, process advice for cash centers, and remote services for the BPS M5.
